Farrah Fawcett Health Worsens, Received Last Rites

Farrah Fawcett, 62, American cancer-stricken actress, had taken a serious turn for the worse and her loved ones reportedly gathered at her bedside Wednesday night. A priest was already summoned to the L.A. Hospital where she was admitted. Hope she will recover.

Fawcett, a "Charlie's Angels" icon - a devout Catholic - is being treated for anal cancer, the television show "Extra" reported.Arnold Robinson, her publicist, when asked, would not comment on the reports, saying only that "she is still being treated for her condition."

Keeping vigil in the intensive care unit includes Ryan O'Neal, longtime love, who has been with the one-time sex symbol constantly since she was hospitalized two weeks ago. Mela Murphy, Farrah's friend and hairdresser of 18 years, and close pal and fellow actress Alana Stewart were also said to be with Fawcett.Well,it is through darkest times when we can see who really our true friends are.

A source close to Faucet revealed through People.com "There was a moment last week when she was supposed to be released and was going home," It was further told that. "But things changed."
The actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and her fight for survival was chronicled in the NBC documentary, "Farrah's Story."

Are there still hope for her? Ryan, 68, was hoping she would recover enough for them to tie the knot.
"I've asked her to marry me again, and she's agreed," he told Barbara Walters for a "2-0/20" interview scheduled to air tomorrow. It's a rare and one of a kind love that maybe Ryan is feeling for her.

He further told, "Farrah is fighting for her life. But we will wed as soon as she can say yes. Maybe we can just nod her head. "I promise you, we will. Absolutely." Ryan says he has never felt the need to marry his long-term love until now. They have one son together, 24-year-old Redmond O'Neal. I hope Farrah will still recover and give them time to wed and enjoy.

According to Wiki, Fawcett was a recipient of multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, Fawcett shot to international fame in 1976 due in part to her role as private investigator Jill Munroe in the TV series Charlie's Angels. Fawcett went on to become a critically acclaimed actress, appearing off-Broadway and in highly rated television movies in roles often challenging (The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Margaret Bourke-White) and sometimes unsympathetic (Small Sacrifices).

Fawcett is also a pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women and whose poster sales broke records, making her an international sex symbol in the 1970s and 1980s.

Maybe we could offer her a prayer for her recovery. Do you think there are still miracles for her? Yes, there is, with prayers there are still big possibilities.
